South Korea's RaonSecure to Power Simplified Authentication for the country's National Tax Service

2025-01-15  Ian Fleming

RaonSecure has announced support for simplified authentication login for the National Tax Service’s Home Tax year-end tax settlement service through its integrated authentication platform. The new authentication environment will be implemented starting January 15, 2025, marking a significant evolution in South Korea’s digital identity infrastructure. Through RaonSecure’s “OmniOne CX” integrated authentication service, users can access the Home Tax system using various private authentication certificates, including those from Naver, KakaoTalk, Pass, Toss, Shinhan, Hana, and KB. The platform emerged following the revision of the Electronic Signature Act, which eliminated mandatory certified digital certificates and opened the market to private authentication services.
