Until now, overseas nationals without a domestic mobile phone or credit card needing to access domestic digital services had to visit diplomatic missions to get joint and financial certificates issued. Now, through non-face-to-face identity verification utilizing electronic passports, overseas residence information, and facial recognition, individuals can obtain identity verification certificates, enabling convenient access to domestic digital services such as government civil service, e-commerce, and internet banking.
