Colorado has expanded its digital identification options by integrating Samsung Wallet, allowing residents to store their driver’s licenses and state ID cards digitally. The initiative aims to offer enhanced convenience and security for users who prefer digital solutions for identity verification. Residents with Samsung devices can now add their Colorado driver’s license or state ID to Samsung Wallet. This feature is available to all eligible users, enabling them to verify their identity by tapping or scanning a QR code through the Samsung Wallet app. Following similar implementations in other states, this digital ID can be used at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints at select airports, including Denver International Airport, providing a seamless travel experience.
