Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs unveils a digital certificate wallet prototype to boost secure digital ID verification. It aims to enhance privacy and support smart governance. This tool allows citizens to store and use digital documents, such as national ID cards, health insurance cards, and driver's licenses, securely on their smartphones. MODA plans to launch a regulatory sandbox by the end of March and will gradually release the source code.
